Dear Reader, Lately I've been working on more in-home client organizing projects and there is something I keep seeing, no matter what type of home or household situation. The consistent problem? Too much stuff. Organizing without decluttering first simply doesn't work. You must get rid of things to create the breathing room to organize and build systems for what's left. I see it in every home I walk into. Available space buried under years of accumulation. Kitchen counters you can't see. Closets bursting with clothes on wire or unmatched hangers. Garages that only hold boxes, not cars. If this sounds like your home, it's not an organizing problem. It's a decluttering problem. When you feel overwhelmed and the clutter has taken over, but you don't know where to begin? I've got you (below is a peek :). I built the The Simple Home Reset for exactly this. A clear framework and strategy to edit 9 spaces in your home. Plus systems to keep it that way. It's available now in my Etsy shop on sale for $12.75. → Get the Simple Home Declutter + Reset Workbook here All the best, Macie P.S. Browse all home and life resources in my shop here. She used pre-cut pumpkin cards and letters to spell Pumpkin Spice on her wall. It was quite cute! Her excitement for Halloween got me...
Hi Reader, Here we are yet again with another home repair! Are you sick of me talking about these yet? LOL. Yesterday I walked downstairs to a small puddle underneath the fridge. After snapping at the dog thinking she'd had an accident I realized it was melting ice from the freezer. A compressor issue apparently. A repair guy arrived today and the good news, it's a clear fix. The bad news, it is expensive. Of course! But on the bright side? I now have a real reason to do a fridge deep clean...
Dear Reader, I am sitting at my desk with a cup of hot hazelnut coffee and thrilled that it is raining outside. Raining! After months of heat we could use a break and today delivered. Now I just want to light my pumpkin pecan candle, make a pot of chili and watch football all day. We have entered the cozy season. There is something about this shift in weather that makes you want your home to feel different too. Warmer. Softer. More intentional. Less summer chaos and more quiet comfort. If you...
